As a non-profit, CHAC received corporate furniture cast offs and used what they could as they were on a limited budget.
Using a biophilic design concept, we incorporated nature to create a zen-like waiting space with better flow where the patients did not have to look at one another.
This living room was a time capsule from the 1950's when wood paneling was really in.
Paint goes a long way! By removing the fans overhead, we raised the ceiling. We added non recessed LEDs that are almost flush with the ceiling in white so it almost looks like recessed lighting at 3/4" of depth.
This kitchen was last updated in the 1980's. We decided to do a facelift instead of a full remodel due to financial constraints.
Cost consciously refreshed the kitchen by repainting the kitchen cabinets, changing the cabinet knobs + pulls, and changed the lights. (Staged by Location Staging)
